Marc J. Hirsh, MD, FACP
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Dr. Hirsh graduated Phi Beta Kappa with his Bachelor of Science degree and medical degree from the University of Florida. After an internship at Northwestern University in Chicago, he completed residency in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami. He served on the faculty for one year as Chief Resident before completing his sub-specialty training in rheumatology at the University of Miami.
Since 2003, Dr. Hirsh has had a successful South Florida private practice in Rheumatology. He is a board certified rheumatologist and a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and American College of Rheumatology. As a Palm Beach County Medical Society Board member and panel member of numerous medical organizations, Dr. Hirsh remains active on a local and national level.
Dr. Hirsh is dedicated to the integrity of ultrasound in medicine. He is a nationally recognized musculoskeletal ultrasound instructor involved in the education of other physicians in various specialties including orthopedics, pain management, physiatry and rheumatology. With the use of ultrasound for diagnostic and advanced techniques like ultrasound-guided cortisone injections and ultrasound-guided PRP injections, Dr. Hirsh has helped provide relief for many people.
